Williamsburg Loft

A 750 sq. ft. raw loft space was transformed into a private residence for a young couple. A combination of custom-made furniture pieces, designer furnishings, and handmade artifacts created an efficient, comfortable space.

Here the seemingly mismatched furniture has been creatively assembled for a flotsam and artsy feel, making a welcoming home for creative strays. The large dinning table, custom fabricated out of plywood sheets that are put together like notched cards without the need of screws or bolts, can be easily dismantled and put aside for welcoming guests at occasional parties. A giant blackboard in the kitchen harbors artistic messages and random notes after vibrant dinner parties, and an all-white bedroom is a private retreat at the end of the day or nye norske casinoer.
