LOT is an award winning architecture and design firm with offices in New York and in Greece focusing on applying strong design concepts with consciousness and pragmatism. LOT works on an array of projects ranging in scale and complexity from spatial installations to interior spaces and buildings of high capacity architecture.
LOT was founded in 2014 by Leonidas Trampoukis and Eleni Petaloti. In 2016 LOT formed Objects of Common Interest. a design studio with the aim in creating objects and still life installations in search of inspirational moments in materiality, process and concept, sharing a common vision in flowing seamlessly through interdisciplinary practices blurring the boundaries between the artistic and the pragmatic, between form and abstraction, merging the founders’ backgrounds in architecture and art.
Work has been featured in press including The Wall Street Journal, T magazine, Wallpaper*, Elle Decor, FRAME and PHAIDON publishers and presented in exhibitions, such as the Venice Architecture Biennale, Greek Architecture Biennale, Chicago Architecture Biennale and the Salone del Mobile in Milan. In 2014 LOT was shortlisted for the European Piranesi Awards and in 2014 was selected for the Wallpaper* Architects Directory, the iconic magazine’s list of the best architectural talent from around the globe.
Eleni and Leonidas have been named Designers of the Year by Wallpaper* Magazine in 2023, and Designers of the Year by Elle Decor in 2024, and recognized among the people shaping America’s creative landscape as part of Wallpaper*USA 400 in 2025.

LEONIDAS TRAMPOUKIS
Leonidas founded LOT together with Eleni Petaloti in 2014. With an educational background from Columbia University in New York, Aristotle Polytechnic University and Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Paris La Villette in Paris, Leonidas has extensive experience leading large scale projects combining a pragmatic approach with a creative conceptual clarity and artistic sensitivity.
Leonidas is an Adjanct Professor of Architecture at Columbia University GSAPP and Founding Partner of Studio Objects Of Common Interest.
ELENI PETALOTI
Eleni co founded LOT as Creative Director and launched sibling Objects of Common Interest studio in 2016 with a prior 10 year experience in the Arts having served as the Executive Director for non profit Faou Foundation in New York and as the Director of internationally acclaimed artist Mariko Mori.
She received her education at Columbia University in New York, Aristotle Polytechnic University and Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Paris La Villette in Paris.
Eleni brings her architectural background and extensive experience in the art and design world offering creative direction in the projects of LOT leading to international commissioned projects of various scales, collaborations with museums worldwide, commissioning installations and special projects.
Eleni is an Adjanct Professor of Architecture at Columbia University GSAPP and Founding Partner of Studio Objects Of Common Interest.
